Hey Racers,

Today, we'd like to share some additional info about the upcoming Continuous Matchmaking and Chat systems that we introduced in the January 11 Dev Blog.

First, Continuous Matchmaking. This is essentially a re-matchmaking system where, at the end of a matched game, each Racer is given the option to stay matched with the same Racers for as many subsequent matches as they desire.

With the addition of this new system, we also plan to add the [Matchmaking Stage], a new waiting room where Racers that choose to stay can prepare together for their next match.

In the [Matchmaking Stage], Racers will be able to view the track for the next race, change their Character or Kart, and talk to their fellow Racers via Chat. Once all 8 Racer slots are filled, the next match will start.
