Welcome to the Character Skills Encyclopedia! 

 

Character Skills are unique abilities that can be used by each character in Item Mode. Active skills need to be triggered by the player, while Passive skills activate on their own without the need for any additional input. Currently, there are 15 active and 15 passive character skills updated in the game, and other characters will be updated in stages. (Characters without skills can still play the Item Mode.)

 

You can search for a specific character using Ctrl + F, or view skills by selecting the character's name.

Dao's been hard at work perfecting his most incredible move yet! When this skill is activated, Dao can dodge any upcoming obstacles and also receives a temporary speed boost. Bazzi can pull some amazing things out of his bag! When this skill is activated, Bazzi rolls a Water Balloon in front of him that immobilizes any racers caught in the blast, trapping them in water for a short time.

Thanks to her competitive spirit, you just can't knock Diz down for very long! Chance to acquire a Boost when hit by an Attack Item. Marid enters the race with a Boost Item purchased in advance. The game starts with Marid already possessing a Boost. She obtains the boost every time she drives for a set amount of time. The farther behind you are from the 1st place, the faster you obtain the Boost.

Mos enters the race with a customized item slot. When obtaining Items that are placed on the ground like Bananas, he may obtain multiple of them. When he obtains an Item Box, Keffy has a chance to throw out one of two donuts. These donuts can be eaten by anyone. Different flavored donuts have different effects.

Active [Easy] Greed on the High Seas Passive [Medium] Cannonball
Lodumani swings his cherished skull cane and plunders all nearby Item Boxes. He can use as many of these plundered items as he has slots to hold. Toto joins the race armed with a secret weapon to demonstrate the fearsomeness of Lodumani's pirate crew. Obtaining a Missile has a chance to swap it out for a Cannonball. When Toto whistles, he projects a field ahead of him and anyone who enters it will be attacked by a number of Cannonballs.

When this skill is activated at the right time, Lodumani will loot all nearby Item Boxes, keeping whatever he can in his empty item slots.

Passive [Easy] Fan Service Passive [Easy] Water Bomb Bouquet
Fans' love for Rave protects her from harm. When colliding with items that have a slipping effect like Bananas, a temporary shield is activated a fixed number of times, that defends you from the pertinent items. Airi enters the race with a modified Water Bomb which she can throw several of at once. Upon obtaining a Water Bomb, it changes into a Water Bomb Bouquet. Upon using a Water Bomb Bouquet, the number of Water Bombs in it is determined by chance.

Miso is proud to show off the power of the Legend Cup combined with futuristic technology! Miso will select a racer, and if that racer is an opponent, she'll pull them towards her. If the racer is on her team, nothing happens. Kris plays a trick by hacking into all opposing racers' item slots, converting one item into a Banana. She acquires an item based on the number of racers she hacks.

Sophia just wants to be alone and has no problem hacking her way there! When this skill is activated, Sophia disrupts a nearby opponent to disable any Shield, Angel Armor, and Boost effects. Upon receiving a report, Brian sets out equipped with an Enhanced Siren. When he gets a Siren that boosts his speed for quicker mobilization and law enforcement, it's upgraded to an Enhanced Siren, while also providing a Barricade.

Brodi just loves to give everyone a little boost! Brodi will make a temporary Boost Zone in the direction he is facing. Anyone who drives over it will have their speed increased for a short time. Tobi looks for some assistance from his trusted friend Sweeper! Sweeper appears in front of a racer Tobi selects, swerving back and forth. Sweeper will disappear after a collision.

Vivi can summon water vapor from thin air to make a snowball! She then places that snowball on the track. If any racer besides Vivi drives over the snowball, they will slide and become temporarily unable to steer. Pim can summon water vapor from thin air to make snowflakes! Pim places a snowflake on the track. If any racer besides Pim drives over the snowflake, they will be temporarily unable to steer.

Mayor Zipi spent a considerable portion of his fortune to get ahead in this race! Use this skill as you are about to get hit to activate a protective shield for a short time.

Spirit Kid fades into a ghost, gaining a temporary acceleration boost. While a ghost, she cannot be targeted but also cannot defend herself against other items or skills. Item attacks on Spirit Kid's ghost will do nothing, but the item will disappear. Tiera blesses her fellow racers with the magic of Prettion! Tiera will give a Boost to the selected player, or extend their Boost if they already have one active. If the racer is on the same team, Tiera will also be shielded.
