Season 3 arrives with a special event for the Mode Lab's newest addition, Flag Mode, as well as a wealth of Hot Time, On-Time, and Login rewards and more!

Capture the Flag Event

Try out the new Flag Mode in the Mode Lab all season long to rack up points and earn a wealth of rewards, including Pirate Mobi and the Octoroller kart!

Event Duration: Start of Season 3 - Start of Season 4

Event Details and Challenges:

• Participate in Flag Mode during Season 3 and rack up points to complete challenges and unlock special challenges!
• Some challenges will award Flag Points, which unlock bonus rewards.
  • Note: Flag Points are not spent. Earning 500 Flag Points will unlock the 150, 300, and 500 Flag Point rewards.
• Daily Challenge: Complete 1 Flag Mode Race
  • Win or lose, finishing the race will complete this challenge!
  • Rewards: 300 Lucci.
  • Can be completed once per day, resetting at 12:00 AM UTC.
• Weekly Challenge: Complete 5 Flag Mode Races
  • Once again, you'll make progress on this challenge regardless of if you win or lose, just as long as you finish the race!
  • Rewards: 50 Flag Points and 1,000 Lucci.
  • Can be completed once per week, resetting on Thursday at 12:00 AM UTC.
• Ongoing Challenges:
  • Obtain a Total Team Score of 1,000 Points:
    • Rewards: 200 Flag Points and the Uni Emblem
    • Can be completed once during the event.
  • Win 20 Flag Mode Races:
    • Rewards: 150 Flag Points and 10x Whole Watermelon Balloons
    • Can be completed once during the event.
  • Win 5 Flag Mode Races within 2 Minutes:
    • Rewards: 150 Flag Points and the Rena Emoji Set
    • Can be completed once during the event.
  • Complete 50 Flag Mode Races
    • Rewards: 200 Flag Points and the Summer Treat Decal
    • Can be completed once during the event.
• Prizes must be claimed before the event ends, and all items sent to the Mailbox must be claimed within 30 days of receipt, or they will expire.
